Congratulations to the Weill Cornell Medicine 2026 Graduates!

Weill Cornell Medicine community celebrated graduates from both the Weill Cornell Medical College as well as the Weill Cornell Graduate School. Sixteen Tri-I students received their medical degree thus completing their journey with MD-PhD program, and five Tri-I students received their doctoral degree after defending their thesis and will be returning to medical school this fall. Congratulations to all students of the Class of 2026!

Among the Tri-I medical school graduates, the following students received awards at convocation:

• Yilun Ma received The Alan Van Poznak Award for Excellence in Anesthesiology.
• Felipe D'Andrea received The Clarence C. Coryell Prize in Medicine, the WCM Award for Academic Excellence, and The John Metcalf Polk Prize.
• Connie Zhou received The Richard N. Kohl Prize for Excellence in Psychiatry and The Elise Strang L’Esperance Prize in Public Health.

First year, MD-PhD student Tara Joseph was awarded The Sidney and Viola Borkon Memorial Prize.

To celebrate all that our Class of 2026 has accomplished, the MD-PhD program hosted a reception earlier this week.
