Ian Kwok, M.D., is a palliative care physician who serves as director of community outreach and education and director of the Palliative Care House Call Program in the Division of Geriatrics and Palliative Medicine. His research investigates multimodal approaches to improve serious illness communication, including the integration of artificial intelligence and creative arts therapies. He believes that the arts facilitate powerful meaning-making, embodying the heart of clinical care.
