Michael Marcel
Medical Student
Michael Marcel is a medical student at Weill Cornell with an interest in psychiatry and the intersection of art and medicine. As events director for the Medical Humanities, he has organized lectures with physician journalists, hosted documentary film nights, and curated tours of art galleries and rare book libraries to spark meaningful dialogue. Before medical school, he founded an arts and culture collective examining themes of queer identity, death, and technology, while exploring his artistic voice through poetry, spoken word, performance art, and experimental film. He earned his undergraduate degree from Yale University.
