Adam R Stracher M.D.

Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine

Dr. Adam Stracher is chief medical officer and director of the Primary Care Division of the Weill Cornell Physician Organization. A graduate of Amherst College, he received his M.D. in 1990 from the State University of New York Health Science Center, completed his internal medicine residency in 1993, and an infectious disease fellowship in 1995 at New York Hospital–Cornell Medical Center. He has been in practice at Weill Cornell Medical Associates since 1995, providing internal medicine and primary care while teaching and mentoring trainees. In 2014, he was also appointed assistant dean for clinical affairs, leading institutional efforts in clinical transformation.
