Dr. Keith LaScalea is a dedicated physician and educator who has served the Weill Cornell Medicine (WCM) community for over 20 years. Currently, he serves as associate dean of student affairs and student life, where he champions the integration of humanities into medical education. Dr. LaScalea has made significant contributions to medical education at all levels, from pre-med and undergraduate to continuing education. His commitment to medicine spans the globe, with impactful work in Tanzania, Ghana, and Zambia, where he has contributed to clinical care, teaching, and public health initiatives. He maintains an active primary care practice and remains deeply involved in the medical community through his work with the NY County Medical Society and MSSNY. He is passionate about fostering a well-rounded and compassionate approach to patient care.
