Kimberly Hong, LCSW, APHSW-C, is a palliative care social worker at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center. She earned her MSW from NYU’s Silver School of Social Work and completed the Zelda Foster Studies Program in Palliative and End-of-Life Care. Committed to integrating the arts into clinical practice, she helped relaunch Weill Cornell Medicine’s Music and Medicine program during the COVID-19 pandemic, facilitating bedside performances for patients and families and concerts for hospital staff. Her work centers on sustaining dignity, connection, and meaning for individuals facing serious or chronic illness, and on advancing humanistic care within interdisciplinary medical teams.
