Community

New York City doesn't just have the best schools, hospitals, and research centers — it has the best of everything. When you're not in class or studying, we encourage you to get out and explore the city. There are also community service activities that you can participate in. Please take the time to read the guide below to NYC's local resources and find information on nearby shopping, banking, grocery stores, transportation, and sightseeing.

Community Service

Community service is an essential part of student life at Weill Cornell Medical College. You can take part in a wide variety of community service activities, most of which are coordinated by members of the student body.

Learn more about volunteer opportunities on the Community Service website or contact Krista Fretes, Associate for Access, Belonging, and Student Success at 646-962-4939 or kmf4003@med.cornell.edu.
