Vision insurance coverage is provided by MetLife. 
Weill Cornell Medicine (WCM) provides students and their dependents the opportunity to obtain vision coverage while they are a degree-seeking student.   

Open enrollment for the upcoming plan year (July 1, 2026 – June 30, 2027) will be from June - August 31, 2026. To enroll in Cornell University's vision plan, login to our Member Benefits site. 

• Open enrollment for plan year July 1, 2026 – June 30, 2027 is from June - August 31, 2026.
• There is a non-refundable fee of $20.00 for vision enrollment. 
  If you enroll in the dental and vision plans at the same time, you will be charged one enrollment fee of $20.
• Changes or cancellations to plan enrollments during the year are not permitted. 

If you miss this year's open enrollment deadline of August 31, you will have to wait until the next open enrollment period (typically in June) to add coverage.
